They also deserve to have a trained advocate to speak up for them, to ensure that all their needs are being met and that their voice is heard in court. Studies show that children raised in the foster care system face uphill battles, including delinquency, teen pregnancy, and dropping out of high school. With a CASA volunteer, these children are more likely to beat the odds and successfully fill our shoes in the community.
